Kit Layfield is an Illustrator living in the city of Philadelphia. Although, capable of minor amusements, he has failed create anything that does not fall into one of two buckets, utterly insufferable pretentious junk or pathetically low brow pleads for attention. He has been trying to do something creative for years, and all he puts out are sad little drawings, that only serve as confirmation of his worst characteristic, an unbearable love of hearing himself talk. He is currently consumed with the fear that his pretentious bullshit has full taken over his creative process, which is completely self evident. He can been seen muttering and walking in concentric circles saying over and over “All art forms in the digital age are broken down into simple two dimensional expressions, by reducing things myself I’m expressing the daily reductions that are built into the modern consumption of culture”.
